General Production Worker- $18-21/hr Job Description General Production Workers operate in a busy manufacturing environment, performing a variety of production tasks. You will support day-to-day operations by cleaning work areas, handling materials, using hand and power tools, operating industrial machinery. Responsibilities Perform general labor and production duties in a shop/manufacturing environment. Use hand tools and power tools for tasks such as sanding, grinding, and deburring steel components. Assist with operating manufacturing equipment, including industrial machinery, forklifts, and sanding/grinding equipment. Read and interpret tape measures accurately to support precise measurements and production work. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience working in a shop environment as a laborer or production worker. Experience using a sander or grinder. Proficiency using hand tools and power tools in a production or shop setting. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Comfort performing manual labor in a large shop or manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience sanding or grinding steel components. Experience operating manufacturing equipment such as industrial machinery, forklifts, or sanding/grinding tools. Experience operating various shop machinery beyond basic tools. Work Environment This position is based in a large shop and manufacturing facility. The environment is non-climate controlled, with dock doors open and fans used to help manage temperatures during warmer seasons.
