Production Operator - Manufacturing Responsibilities Operate extrusion, press, and automated production equipment to manufacture drainage pipe and related products. Set up machines according to work orders and standard operating procedures, ensuring correct configurations before production begins. Adjust machine controls and monitor equipment performance to maintain optimal production output and product quality. Follow work orders, production schedules, and standard operating procedures to meet production targets and deadlines. Load raw materials into machines safely and efficiently to support continuous production. Remove finished goods from production lines and handle them carefully to prevent damage or contamination. Move raw materials and finished products within the production area using appropriate methods and equipment. Remove full product quantities from lines, label them accurately, and ensure proper identification and traceability. Inspect labels and finished products in a clean room environment to verify accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Use measurement tools and follow established quality procedures to confirm that all products meet specified requirements. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and site procedures to support a safe, compliant, and organized production environment. Assist with staging, packaging, and preparing shipments to ensure products are ready for on-time delivery. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and support general production housekeeping activities. Essential Skills Experience operating extrusion, press, or automated production equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment. Ability to set up machines, adjust controls, and monitor performance to maintain consistent production output. Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting labels and finished products for accuracy and quality. Ability to follow work orders, production schedules, and standard operating procedures precisely. Basic math skills to perform measurements, counts, and simple calculations related to production and quality checks. Proficient English written and verbal communication skills to understand instructions, document information, and coordinate with team members. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily production activities. Capability to work effectively in a clean room environment while following all cleanliness and handling protocols.
