Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Completion of general safety training.
  • Completion of ISO training.
  • Completion of Forklift safety training.
  • Ability to operate packaging equipment and machines.
  • Familiarity with packaging specifications.
  • Identify quality issues and report to Production Lead.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Quickly respond to any line stops and assist in making the line operational again.
  • Maintain an organized supply of production supplies, and report any shortages to Production Lead.
  • Prepare for shift and proactively plan for items needed during production to minimize lost time.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the Production Lead.
Skills / Experience
/
Education Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 50-100lbs.
  • Must be able to stand 8-12 hours.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Working Conditions /
Physical Requirements:
  • Heavy manufacturing conditions
  • Conditions may include exposure to hot/cold conditions, loud noise, and potential dust exposures
  • Note all conditions have been assessed and controls have been implemented to reduce exposure.
  • Working Hours vary week to week but could be between 36-48 hours per week.
  • Employees must adhere to our PPE Policy which includes dawning: Steel toed metatarsal boots safety eyewear Hearing protection long pants.
Cut resistant sleeves and gloves This position may require one to dawn respirator if working in specific work areas (fit testing required) Other PPE to protect against Chemicals utilized during our manufacturing process.
