Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Completion of general safety training.
- Completion of ISO training.
- Completion of Forklift safety training.
- Ability to operate packaging equipment and machines.
- Familiarity with packaging specifications.
- Identify quality issues and report to Production Lead.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Quickly respond to any line stops and assist in making the line operational again.
- Maintain an organized supply of production supplies, and report any shortages to Production Lead.
- Prepare for shift and proactively plan for items needed during production to minimize lost time.
- Perform any other task assigned by the Production Lead.
Skills / Experience
/Education Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50-100lbs.
- Must be able to stand 8-12 hours.
- Basic math skills required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy manufacturing conditions
- Conditions may include exposure to hot/cold conditions, loud noise, and potential dust exposures
- Note all conditions have been assessed and controls have been implemented to reduce exposure.
- Working Hours vary week to week but could be between 36-48 hours per week.
- Employees must adhere to our PPE Policy which includes dawning: Steel toed metatarsal boots safety eyewear Hearing protection long pants.
