Lewisburg, OH $17.00 - 18.00 per hour

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply Experience Requirements Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Basic understanding of workplace safety practices Job Duties Assist with the operation of machines that manufacture cardboard boxes Manually feed cardboard into production equipment as needed Monitor machine operation and report issues to supervisors Maintain production quality standards Assist with material handling and movement of finished products Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all food-grade manufacturing requirements and safety procedures Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Assistant. Physical Capabilities Steel-toed shoes required Casual work attire and shorts permitted No jewelry, fake nails, or fake eyelashes permitted due to food-grade manufacturing requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
