Job Summary:
As an Assembler/Solder Production Operator, you will perform diversified soldering and assembly operations on a variety of products, working with close tolerances and multiple components. This role involves assembling, testing, and finishing units while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Additional responsibilities include team collaboration, supporting shipping/packing, and potentially training peers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diversified soldering tasks including torch and iron soldering. Assemble components and products according to established procedures and blueprints. Read and interpret blueprints, wire schematics, and utilize measuring instruments to ensure quality and compliance.
Complete finishing duties:
attach nameplates, decals, hardware, and perform touch-up painting. Perform potting and encapsulation processes as required. Operate hand tools, soldering irons, and other assembly equipment safely and proficiently. Assist with packing, shipping, and related logistics tasks. Collaborate effectively in a team environment; participate in problem-solving and support cross-training efforts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Eligible to work under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance. Previous manufacturing or soldering experience preferred. Completed ESD training and solder certification (e.g., J-STD-001) highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire schematics accurately. Skilled in the safe use of measuring instruments, hand tools, soldering irons, and power equipment.
