Job Description

Primary responsibility is to assist Production in various administrative tasks. Perform duties to control production order system, process freight bill transactions and provide support to manufacturing management. Process stock and production orders, materials and parts requisitions, inventory maintenance and expedite customer inquiries in the manufacture of brushing and accessories. Performs Data Entry and serves as a liaison between Sales and Manufacturing. Essential Job Functions Process orders, material requisitions, inventory maintenance: Receive and review customer orders for item requirements, priority status, and proposed shipping date; Check inventory system for stock availability Process items in stock Post to inventory system and release shipmnt Place out of stock items in back order status Enter stock and item requirements into production system Assign order number, quantities Verify completion dates with appropriate personnel Prepare inventory masters, bills of material, labor and cost data Create new shop masters Key in system to print shop master, bills of material, production schedules, etc. Release and distribute paperwork to proper areas Process bills of lading, export papers, and other documents to ensure proper shipment Acknowledge shipping date Expedite Customer Inquiries Receive customer inquiries by phone, fax, or in writing Expedite order inquiries Check status of order, follow-up on back orders, production problems, shipping delays Issue tracers on lost shipments Establish order disposition and notify customer Notify supervision of any discrepancies Maintain records and reports as required to ensure effective data and workflow Perform other duties as assigned or directed responsibilities necessitate Skills and Qualifications Excellent organizational skills to handle a constantly changing series of priorities. Must have excellent communication skills - bilingual is a plus - particularly Spanish. Experience handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. Knowledge of production computer systems and in the use of Outlook, and Excel. Team player with the ability to get along well with others. Excellent attendance record. Physical Demands Ability to sit for extended periods of time Normal mental and visual attention Mobility to walk around facility to follow up required materials Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Required Four Year Degree desired Please download and fill out our Employment Application.
