Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting experience is a plus. Must have experience with misc. hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools, etc.Principal Area of Responsibility:
The Leadperson must possess a fundamental working knowledge of the Wax Dept. to provide shift support in the areas of quality and productivity improvement. This is a "hands on" position with the following key responsibilities:Specific Duties:
Check production schedules and assign work as required. Oversee processing of special lots and assign as appropriate for expeditious processing. Using forklifts/carts, stage parts for following shifts. Take daily parts inventories; locate in production cycle and report totals and discrepancies from the Report to the area manager. Maintain daily production quantity and quality as assigned. Assist with the administrative duties such as production schedule updates, time card review, and training documentation. Perform other duties as outlined in home base job description. Assist in maintaining proper product flow through Wax Dept. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors. Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.Physical and Mental Demands:
Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed below. The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines. Must pass Jaeger vision test.
