Production Associate | 1st Shift | $19.75-21.73 HR Job Description As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process. You will record information such as ingredients, weights, and temperatures, inputting these into the database accurately. Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes, as well as observing all safety and quality regulations, are crucial aspects of this role. You will also assist in planning and improving processes and product quality, working collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of the production process. Responsibilities Store, retrieve, mix, and monitor chemicals used in the production process. Record and input information such as ingredients, weights, and temperatures into the database. Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes. Observe all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations. Follow warehouse safety guidelines and report any accidents, safety violations, or other concerns. Assist in planning and improving processes and product quality. Work with other team members to ensure timely completion of the production process. Perform assembly work as required. Pick parts and products, organize items ordered by customers, and prepare them for shipment. Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods. Essential Skills 1+ year of manufacturing experience Ability to lift up to 30lbs repetitively Basic computer skills for logging production numbers Steel Toe Boots Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience with weight or batch mixing Labeling and packaging experience Tow Motor / Reach Truck Operator experience Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility is extremely well kept and well lit, though it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to open bay doors. Training occurs on the 1st shift for one to three months, from 5:30 AM to 6:15 PM (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, your choice) . Shift differentials offered for 3rd up to $3.00/hr. The facility offers two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mentor, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
