Job Description

Corrugated Press Assistant Operator — Navarre, OH 44662 Picture your morning starting at 6:00 AM. You walk the line, verify measurements, stage materials, and help dial in machine setups so production launches on time. Throughout the shift you keep a sharp eye on product quality, respond quickly to equipment hiccups, and partner with operators to keep orders moving. By 2:30 PM, you've helped deliver a smooth, efficient run. What you'll do Assist with setting up and running production equipment, including corrugated presses, gluing and folding machines, strappers, band saws, and a slitter. Uphold quality specifications for packaging materials from first piece to final pack-out. Support rapid, accurate changeovers to keep schedules on track. Work closely with teammates to improve processes and throughput. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime. Tools and technology you'll work with Corrugated Press Gluing/Folding Equipment Strapping Machines Band Saws Slitter Measurement Gauges What you bring Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting ability. Background in packaging or press/converting operations. Strong shop math and accurate tape-measure reading. Reliable attendance with a history of long-term employment. Comfort working in a fast-paced, production environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet all physical requirements. Basic computer skills for production inputs and checks. Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed. Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, with occasional overtime.
