By leveraging your mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, you will ensure our production equipment operates at peak performance to meet critical delivery deadlines. Responsibilities Configure and operate industrial machinery, including corrugated presses, folding units, and slitting equipment, to achieve precise production targets. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving mechanical bottlenecks to minimize downtime. Perform rigorous quality inspections on packaging materials to ensure they meet exact specifications. Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and optimize machine changeover times. Execute routine equipment adjustments and maintenance tasks to support consistent, high-quality output. Maintain a safe and organized workspace while adhering to all operational safety standards. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a packaging, printing, or industrial press environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve equipment issues independently. Proficiency in shop math and the ability to take accurate measurements using tape measures and gauges. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Demonstrated history of reliability and consistent attendance in previous roles. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating corrugated presses or similar converting machinery. Basic computer literacy for logging production data and monitoring machine performance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting.
