Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Shop Helper to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will support daily manufacturing operations by assisting with assembly, material handling, and equipment setup. Duties Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished goods Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately Measure components using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to support production needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing workspace in compliance with safety standards Support process improvement initiatives by adhering to lean manufacturing principles and safety protocols Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and manage basic inventory replenishment Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is highly advantageous Hands-on experience with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques Understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work instructions accurately Experience with warehouse operations or managing production teams is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with a proactive attitude toward process improvement and safety compliance Join us in creating a safe, efficient, and innovative manufacturing environment where your skills can grow!
