Sunday-Thursday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AM — $23.50/hr Perks Temp-to-hire opportunity Weekly pay Opportunity to grow with a strong manufacturing team Position Overview The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing production line employees and helping ensure the line runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role includes staffing support, training, monitoring productivity, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with supervisors to minimize downtime and keep production goals on target. Line Leads also support setup, workflow organization, production reporting, and continuous improvement efforts across the department. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct production line employees during daily operations Help ensure a safe work environment by communicating safety expectations and addressing issues as they arise Track downtime and assist with corrective actions to improve efficiency Support staffing, training, and cross-training of line employees Work closely with supervisors to ensure work orders, setups, tooling, and fixtures are ready for production Monitor workflow to ensure quality, efficiency, and daily production goals are met Maintain accurate production data, including: weights glass temperatures pour temperatures rejection reports work order sign-offs Enter data into computer systems and QA databases accurately Perform in-process inspections and pallet logging Communicate equipment or mechanical issues to maintenance and supervisors Assist with machine setup and coordinate with the Pour Technician to keep materials available Make valve adjustments when needed Follow and promote 5S and continuous improvement practices Maintain a clean and organized work area Rotate employees along the line for cross-training, safety, and ergonomic purposes Step in and perform production duties as needed to avoid shutdowns Help identify production issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions Run any production line as needed (Lines A-J) Qualifications Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Strong understanding of production flow, quality, and efficiency standards Ability to lead a team and address line-related personnel issues professionally Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documentation Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and pallet jacks as needed
