Full-time The Press Brake Operator plays a vital role in our manufacturing team. This position requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, a strong work ethic and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to form sheet steel products. Ensure production meets quality standards and follows workplace safety protocols. Utilize CNC controls and knowledge of bend allowances for precision work. Read and understand engineered drawings for accurate forming. Maintain own hand tools and lockable toolbox (company provides power tools). Collaborate with the team and report to the Plant Manager.

Knowledge Requirements:

Understanding of manufacturing environment Knowledge of workplace safety and quality standards. Proficient in the use of hand tools, including tape measure, digital calipers, and sheet metal gauges.

Skills:

Strong math skills. Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management skills. Must have valid driver's license.

Positive team attitude. Strong work ethic. Self-motivated and ambitious. Ability to work productively with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent (preferred). Job-related training with sheet metal and/or metal fabrications. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC brake press operator (preferred). Experience in operating measurement equipment. Strong communication skills.

Working Hours:

First Shift Physical/Environmental Hazards:

Exposure to heavy machinery, metal sheet and plate, and noise.

Physical/Cognitive Essential Functions:

Reading, reasoning, problem-solving. Manual dexterity. Standing for 8 to 10 hours daily. Lifting up to 80 pounds. Operation of press brake machine.

Schedule:
