Maintenance Technician Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM On-Call Rotation:
Every 2nd or 3rd weekend
Pay:
$30.00-$35.00/hour (Flexible based on experience) Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support both production equipment and facility maintenance operations. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment while also assisting with light facility maintenance, including HVAC support as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong industrial maintenance background who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Support production and process improvement initiatives alongside Process Engineering. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues involving conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, filtration systems, power transmission equipment, and pneumatic systems. Assist with light facility maintenance, including basic HVAC support. Participate in the development and execution of preventative maintenance programs. Support installation, startup, and maintenance of new equipment. Obtain vendor quotes and assist with purchasing maintenance supplies and equipment. Maintain an organized maintenance shop and spare parts inventory. Collaborate with equipment vendors to improve manufacturing processes and equipment reliability. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to equipment issues outside of normal business hours as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience can come from a variety of manufacturing industries. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience on production equipment. Experience working with conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, filtration systems, compressors, pneumatic equipment, drive systems, and power transmission components. Light HVAC maintenance experience preferred (does not need to be an HVAC expert). Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred. Valid driver's license required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable working around heat, dust, oil, and industrial equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights using aerial lifts when necessary. Strong attendance and reliability are essential. This position is available as either a direct hire or contract-to-hire opportunity, depending on the selected candidate. Compensation is flexible, and the client is open to considering strong candidates with the right maintenance experience. INDBH
