Job Description

Job Summary:
The Production Operator will work in a team production-based setting to assemble and produce products to meet customer requirements and expectations. The Production Operator is charged with assisting operations in the launch and assembly of new products.
Production Operator Responsibilities:
Assembly products to customer requirements and company goals. Adhere to corporate, federal, and state employment policies. Adhere to all company policies and rules. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Perform Preventive maintenance activities to support TPM. Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining the TPM system. Support MRO Planner with daily activities. Adhere to and support compliance to ergonomic guidelines. Participate when required in PFMEA and work instruction reviews. Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.) Assist with specification development for machinery and equipment. Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and policies. Support weekend and off-shift work as required. Other duties as assigned. Predictable and reliable attendance.
Production Operator Position Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred. Working knowledge of quality systems such as
ISO 9001.
Basic problem-solving capabilities for troubleshooting issues in the production environment. Basic mechanical aptitude. Able to work in a team environment.

Working Conditions:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Production Operator employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Prolonged periods of standing. May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, colors on prints, and/or operate field instruments/equipment. Must work rotating shift schedule; may need to work overtime. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Able to continuously stand, bend, squat, and reach. Able to complete physically demanding work.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
