Job Description
About the Role As a Precision CNC Manufacturing Specialist, you will play a critical role in transforming raw materials into high-precision metallic components. You will leverage your expertise in machine shop theory and advanced programming to ensure every part meets exact tolerances, directly impacting the quality and reliability of our production output. Responsibilities Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to determine optimal machining sequences and setup requirements. Execute precise machine setups for CNC mills and lathes, including selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and coolant parameters. Program and edit G-Code and M-Code to optimize cycle times and ensure component accuracy. Perform rigorous quality inspections using advanced hand metrology tools to verify dimensions against GD&T specifications. Conduct trial runs and troubleshoot machine performance to proactively resolve potential production bottlenecks. Maintain equipment health through routine preventive maintenance and rapid response to operational malfunctions. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine manufacturing processes and solve complex assembly challenges. Uphold a culture of safety by strictly adhering to all operational protocols and workplace regulations. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of professional experience in an industrial machining environment. Strong proficiency in CNC machine setup, changeover, and operation (Fanuc/Haas). Expertise in reading blueprints, GD&T, and precision measurement techniques. Proven ability to edit CNC programs and troubleshoot operational issues. Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and perform tasks requiring mobility in a production setting. Preferred Skills Experience machining stainless steel and various tool steel alloys. Advanced knowledge of 3-4 axis VMC and multi-axis lathe operations. Demonstrated ability to develop manufacturing specifications from conceptual sketches.
