Job Description
Precision Metal Products is a family-owned metal stamper, who has operated in Cleveland for over 50 years. Our Assembly Machine Operators ensure products meet all our customer requirements and a successful applicant will become part of growing and successful business. Job Summary An Assembly Machine Operators is responsible for operating production equipment and will receive on the job training and mentorship for up to six weeks to learn from experienced staff. A successful operator is eligible for weekly production bonuses and great attendance is rewarded with a quarterly bonus. Career oriented individuals will find a great home at Precision Metal Products. Responsibilities and Duties Produce parts in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and quality specifications. Be responsible for meeting daily productions quotas Identify & communicate to management manufacturing defects promptly Complete all necessary paperwork to start and complete a job run Perform minor machine trouble shooting of production equipment Perform routine machine maintenance such as oiling and cleaning Qualifications and Skills Visually observe changing manufacturing conditions Have prior experience in a metal manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions Use of inspection measuring/test equipment such as micrometers & microscopes Self-motivated and able to learn at a fast pace. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with federal, state and local standards Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
