This Production Worker position offers a unique 12-hour rotating schedule with a 3-day weekend every other weekend, plus additional days off during the week. We have partnered with a global solar panel manufacturing company in Walbridge, OH that recently opened its fourth area location and is hiring Production Workers . This is a great opportunity for experienced manufacturing, warehouse, production, material handling, textile, agriculture, or military candidates looking for $18/hour, full-time hours, and a climate-controlled work environment. Production Worker Job Duties Wipe down rails to prepare for solar panel adhesion Break down boxes and crates Stack completed rails onto carts and push carts short distances Maintain a clean work area Operate manufacturing equipment and move materials through the production process. Safely manufacture high-quality solar panels/modules while meeting production and quality standards. Monitor equipment, machine control panels, and process data using computer systems. Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and operational preventative maintenance. Complete basic quality inspections and document production information. Identify equipment or production issues and communicate them to leadership. Work with team members to meet production goals while following all safety procedures. Lift and maneuver large, bulky materials throughout the shift. Lift up to 58 lbs. independently and up to 80 lbs. with a team lift Production Worker Requirements 1+ year of manufacturing experience required. Warehouse, textile, agriculture, material inspection, or relevant military experience may also be considered. Ability to frequently lift and maneuver 37-58 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 80 lbs. with assistance . Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks during a 12-hour shift. Strong hand and arm strength with the ability to grasp, carry, lift, and handle materials. Basic math, computer, and troubleshooting skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Safety-focused mindset and ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift. Excellent attendance is required. Maximum of 36 hours/3 days missed. High School Diploma or GED required; proof must be provided before starting. Steel-toe boots required. Reliable transportation required. Smartphone required for the company's mobile timekeeping system. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background check.

6:00 PM-6:10 AM This is a 12-hour rotating schedule designed to give you more days off during the week. Full-time hours 12-hour shifts 3-day weekend every other weekend Additional weekday day(s) off Schedule provides more consecutive days off compared to a traditional Monday-Friday schedule Production Worker Pay $18.00 per hour Climate-Controlled Manufacturing Environment This facility is climate-controlled , providing a more comfortable working environment than a typical hot manufacturing facility.
