Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker for the second shift to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring that production processes meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently during the second shift. Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques according to technical drawings and production documents. Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure product quality standards are met. Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production documentation accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Assist with process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions. Support warehouse activities such as material handling with forklifts and managing inventory levels. Follow manufacturing management procedures to meet production deadlines without compromising safety or quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow on the assembly line. Skills Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a focus on production processes. Proficiency in operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse procedures. Knowledge of measuring instruments and interpreting technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly line equipment and hand/power tools. Experience with manufacturing management systems and process improvement initiatives. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Understanding of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques. Strong attention to detail for quality control and precision measurement. Effective communication skills for interpreting technical documentation and collaborating with team members.
