In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing procedures, materials handling, and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality product output within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Press the different types of plates according to standard operating procedures. Run, monitor and adjust the press line to achieve quality specifications to account for variables such as new tools, material, etc. Test and verify quality of parts before, during, and after the production according to the procedures. Manage inventory of both raw material and finished goods, packing and handling effectively and efficiently. Process the tool changes and cleaning. Research the breakdown causes and make the necessary repairs. Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety Document and communicate issues to stakeholders Maintain the order and cleanliness of the work place and press lines. Responsibilities Operate various manufacturing equipment, including machining tools and packaging machinery, following standard operating procedures. Assist with materials handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and inventory management within the warehouse. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and maintaining organized work areas. Ensure products meet quality standards by conducting basic laboratory tests and inspections as required. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records and process logs. Use forklift trucks safely to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production areas. Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Support packaging operations by preparing products for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Requirements Prior experience in manufacturing environments, including familiarity with machining, packaging, or materials handling. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles aimed at optimizing efficiency and reducing waste. Ability to operate forklift trucks safely; certification is preferred. Laboratory experience or familiarity with basic testing procedures is advantageous. Understanding of CGMP standards relevant to pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing is desirable. Previous warehouse experience, including inventory management and logistics coordination. Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
