Job Description

osemi is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Implant) Night Shift at our Gresham, OR site. As an Equipment Maintenance technician at onsemi's premier 200mm manufacturing facility, the candidate will work in a dynamic team environment maintaining a fleet of semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the Implant process area. The personal performance will directly impact the company's strategic plan to optimize capacity and factory performance.

ViiSta 3000, ViiSta 810, ViiSta HCP, Axcelis GSD, and
EPI ASM-2000/2500
equipment.
Shift:
D Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, e/o Saturday 7 PM -7: 06 AM 15% Night Shift Differential On the job
Conditions:
Work is performed in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing a smock, hood, booties, latex gloves, and safety glasses. May require the use of an APR (air-purifying respirator). May require the occasional use of personal protective equipment, including but not limited to aprons, heat gloves, and full-face masks. Requires standing for up to 75% of the shift Requires lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. May require work with hazardous gases, chemicals, and voltages up to 1500 Volts.
Qualifications:
Associate/technical degree or currently working towards a degree. Minimum 2 years of experience. Must possess good interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
Semiconductor experience preferred. Knowledge of the Implant and/or EPI area, including general process theory and equipment mechanics. Strong mechanical skills. Ability to recognize deviations from normal operation when they are developing. Understands and supports the 5S process.

equipment. Responsibilities Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations. Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals. Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment. Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications. Perform scheduled tool qualifications. Vendor management and coordination. Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring. Other duties as assigned.
