@AEROTEK.COM• Job Description The Fab Operator supports semiconductor wafer manufacturing by operating production equipment, handling wafers in a cleanroom environment, and performing critical process, inspection, and data entry tasks. This role follows detailed procedures, maintains high quality and safety standards, and contributes to efficient production on a 12-hour day shift schedule. Responsibilities Run finished wafers through various chemical baths and testing processes according to established procedures. Process wafers through heat treatment operations while following strict process controls. Package finished wafers and products accurately and safely for transport and shipment. Handle and transport wafers carefully to prevent loss or damage due to mishandling or carelessness. Complete batch divide process steps as needed to support production flow. Load and unload wafers into and out of production tools and equipment. Stage incoming work as needed to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow. Process wafers through post-clean operations, ensuring all steps meet cleanliness and quality standards. Enter process data into Excel spreadsheets and GIP systems with continuous and accurate data collection and input. Load process recipes into production tool computers and verify correct setup before running wafers. Maintain 5S protocol by organizing, cleaning, and sustaining a tidy work area. Perform continuous housekeeping of process tools and surrounding floor and wall space. Perform visual wafer inspections, including both front and back sides of wafers, to identify defects or abnormalities. Perform pad changes and basic maintenance tasks on tools as assigned. Run multiple machines simultaneously once trained and proficient. Prepare and complete detailed pass downs at the end of each shift, documenting work completed and current tool status. Follow all safety requirements and cleanroom protocols at all times. Perform other duties as assigned or directed to support overall fab operations. Essential Skills Ability to be trained on new processes and follow detailed work instructions. Ability to maintain excellent attendance and reliability for scheduled shifts. English speaking and reading skills sufficient to read process documents and understand instructions. High level of teamwork and cooperation when working with colleagues and other departments. Ability to strictly follow safety requirements at all times. Understanding of basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. High level of self-initiative with a strong desire to learn and be effective in the role. Strong attention to detail with the ability to listen carefully and pay close attention to instructions. Ability to use manufacturing process equipment in a production environment. Ability to use a PC and peripherals such as printers and scanners for data entry and documentation. Ability to use basic hand tools, cleaning supplies, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Why Work Here?
