Job Description
The Production Worker assists in the operation and monitoring of production equipment, performing routine inspections, and supporting plant processes under supervision. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Strong problem-solving skills and good attendance history. Ability to work a flexible schedule and outdoors in all seasons. Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work from elevated platforms, and use basic hand tools. Manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, and computer software experience preferred. MSHA knowledge preferred Prioritize safety and comply with all MSHA, environmental, and company policies. Package products into bags, bulk bags, boxes, and bulk hopper railcars. Inspect packaging, check and record bag weights, apply proper identification, and reprocess non-conforming product. Operate manual and automatic palletizers, forklifts, skid steer loaders, ultra-vacs, floor sweepers, and other equipment as required. Assist with bulk railcar cleaning, sealing, purging, switching, and preparation. Clear blockages in elevators, fans, de-lumpers, product lines, belts, and other equipment as needed. Perform general plant cleanup, including sweeping, vacuuming, washing down structures and equipment, and cleaning spill hoppers. Perform basic operational and maintenance tasks as assigned. Maintain accurate records and support general plant operations. Perform additional duties as assigned.
