Production Assistant - Temp to Hire

Job Summary:

We are a manufacturer of topical cosmetics and dietary supplements that are distributed to healthcare practitioners. We are seeking a motivated Production Assistant to join our small team. This is a temp to hire position; minimum of 3 months guaranteed. If responsibilities are performed well, a full time position will be granted at the end of the 3 months. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various filling, packaging and labeling tasks in our production facility. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Operate liquid filling machines used in the production process to fill cosmetic products. Assist with the packaging responsibilities of the cosmetic products using labeling machines or hand applying labels. Record information such as the number of products tested, weights, lot numbers, and dates and times of production. Load and unload items from machines, conveyor belts and truck deliveries. Assist in cleaning the warehouse production areas and equipment daily and the entire warehouse weekly. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

Previous experience working in a production environment is preferred High school diploma Must have a high attention to detail, great hand-eye coordination and good handwriting skills Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and be able to sit or stand for extended periods of timing Have a positive attitude and team player Background check must be cleared before hiring. English speaking only
