Job Description

Pay:
$19-$23/hour (based on experience, reliability, and ability to work independently)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Join a Team That Takes Pride in Doing Things the Right Way The Cary Company is hiring a Skilled Labor Associate to join our Pittsburgh operation. We're looking for someone who shows up on time, works hard, follows procedures, and helps set a positive example on the floor. This is a hands‑on role with steady hours, strong benefits, and room to grow. What You'll Be Doing Handling plastic containers, recycling materials, and industrial drums Palletizing product and using basic hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.) Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area Following safety procedures and standard work — no shortcuts Communicating clearly with supervisors and teammates to keep operations running smoothly What Success Looks Like in This Role Shows up on time, every day, ready to work Works safely and follows procedures without cutting corners Takes ownership of their work and equipment Communicates issues early and helps solve problems Contributes to a positive, respectful team environment What We're Looking For Reliable, consistent work ethic Willingness to learn and take feedback to improve performance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Team‑oriented with clear communication skills Forklift experience is a plus, but not required (we'll train) Why Work at The Cary Company Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) Profit sharing Steady weekday schedule — no weekends Seasonal company events and childcare reimbursement Long‑term stability and growth opportunities A culture that values safety, accountability, and teamwork About Us The Cary Company has been in business since 1895 and employs over 240 people across multiple locations.
