Bakery Oven Helper

We are a family-owned bakery with a rich history dating back to 1926, specializing in crafting all products from scratch. Our bakery offers a full range of pastries, cakes, donuts, bread, and rolls, serving both retail and wholesale customers with quality and tradition. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Bakery Oven Helper to join our baking team. In this role, you will support the baking process by assisting with oven operations, food preparation, and packaging baked goods. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about baking, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality in a busy bakery environment. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday Start time 6:00am Assist in loading and unloading baked goods, rolls, breads & donuts from ovens, ensuring proper handling and timing. Support the preparation of doughs, donuts, crullers and other ingredients for baking. Help with packaging baked items neatly and efficiently for retail or wholesale distribution. Maintain cleanliness of the oven area and workstations in accordance with food safety standards. Follow recipes and baking instructions accurately to ensure consistent product quality. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and helping colleagues as needed. Previous experience in food production or bakery settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to learn to operate bakery ovens safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and organization skills for packaging and product presentation. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
