General Laborer Job Description The General Laborer supports various functions on a high-volume plastic manufacturing line that operates a closed-loop system to recycle post-production polycarbonate and PVC scrap into new thermoplastic products. This role focuses on tasks such as palletizing and performing quality inspections on plastic sheets used in applications like protective Plexiglass for restaurants, schools, and businesses. The position requires a versatile, safety-conscious individual who can adapt to different duties along the production line in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Support different functions along the production line, including palletizing and quality inspection of plastic sheets. Operate and assist with machinery within a closed-loop recycling system that repurposes post-production polycarbonate and PVC scrap into new thermoplastic products. Perform visual and basic quality checks on plastic sheets to ensure they meet production standards and customer requirements. Handle materials safely, including unloading, loading, and replenishing materials on the production line. More information can be provided if needed.
