Senior Manufacturing/Production Operator APR Consulting Inc - 4.2 Canonsburg, PA Job Details Contract $25.71 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Basic math Electrical schematic reading and interpretation High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Measuring instruments Quality inspection Assembly drawings Manufacturing Full Job Description Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Manufacturing/Production Operator position that just opened in Canonsburg, PA. In this role, you will support the assembly, integration, testing, and refurbishment of electronic and mechanical assemblies used in advanced defense systems. To be considered, you will have a High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production assembly experience. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.

12-24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay:
$25.71 per hour
Shift:
1st Shift In this role, you will use your manufacturing and assembly skills to: Perform production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies Read and interpret schematics, drawings, Bills of Material (BOM), and work instructions Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing Integrate subassemblies into final hardware and complete final assembly of small systems Conduct basic electrical testing and troubleshooting Perform rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems Utilize measuring equipment and work order tracking systems Support production goals while maintaining quality and process standards
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production assembly experience Experience with electronic and/or mechanical assembly processes Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings Knowledge of polarity, inspection criteria, BOMs, and work order systems Experience using measuring equipment and basic math skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities U.S. Citizenship required Active DoD Secret Clearance required at time of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing environments Hand soldering and cable harnessing experience Experience performing electrical testing and hardware rework Ability to multitask in fast-paced production environments Interest in process improvement and manufacturing innovation
