Cleanroom Technician Job Description We are seeking a diligent and motivated Cleanroom Technician to join our team in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. This role involves ensuring the efficient packing and stacking of products, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing the workspace for subsequent shifts. Responsibilities Pack chips into boxes of various sizes. Stack boxes onto pallets. Perform general housekeeping throughout the shift, including sweeping and trash disposal. Conduct end-of-shift cleaning and preparation for the next day. Participate in sanitation activities every Friday. Essential Skills Experience in production line operations. Knowledge of cleanroom protocols. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous production experience is advantageous. At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse or production environment. Why Work Here? The facility operates continuously with machines producing snack foods, requiring the use of hearing protection due to a constant hum/drone. Strong aromas from spices and seasonings are present in the production area. Work hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with some overtime available from Monday to Friday. The role includes a 10-minute break and a 20-minute unpaid lunch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.00/hr.
