Fab Team, 2nd shift

Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm -2:30am. Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role. Summary Fab Team Operators will be trained to operate multiple types of machinery including, but not limited to, chopping/blocking equipment and slitting machines. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, machine operators are expected to work in a manner which promotes safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals. Role and Responsibilities Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA's, Sops, Wait for the Wave, etc. Complete forklift training (online and hands-on by trainer on the shop floor) Ability to operate a forklift and attachments required to do the job Skill and ability to meet or exceed the standardsized expectations Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to operate plant scanners and computers to print or scan tickets and conduct inventory Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area. Willing to correct unsafe conditions under his/her control and report those s/he cannot ix to a lead or supervisor.
