Job Description

Fabrication Utility Erie, PA 5 DAYS AGO 22503967 Summary Erie, PA In-Person $13.00 per Hour 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Grow your skillset in sheet metal fabrication with F3 Metalworx! F3 provides an attendance incentive atop base wage, plus on-the-job training to up-skill in fabrication. Ability to read/interpret blueprints is a must have for this position. Our production team operates on a (4) 10's schedule, Mon - Thurs. This role is at our Erie (16505) facility. Duties and Responsibilities Read/interpret blueprints Learn proper safety processes and procedures Read process sheets and check frequently for updates Identify and verify part names and numbers Ensure use of proper materials and equipment prior to use Setup tooling for the following machines: spot weld, PEM insertion, graining, sander, assembly Some large assembly (prior experience a plus) Document use and wear of all tooling Complete process checks prior to and during operation to confirm the following: tolerances, proper machine function, and quality standards Maintain accuracy and motivation on repetitive jobs Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift Ensure machines and tools are clean and in proper working condition prior to, during and after use Initiate process improvements Assist in the implementation of manufacturing processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency Support the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs Communicate clearly with the next shift regarding the following: Completed items, urgent items, machine/job details, items scheduled next, report any broken tooling or machinery in a timely manner Open to learning new skills and willingness to help with multiple projects/areas is a must

Physical Job Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull up to 55 lbs. on your own and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift or equipment assistance Ability to walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, stand for 10 hours Ability to work in high temperatures Ability to communicate needs and concerns in a timely manner Ability to read and understand process sheets Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and an intercom page, and respond accordingly Ability to wear proper PPE- eye protection, gloves, and steel or safety toe shoes or boots Ability to use electrical and manual tools Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and drawings Ability to use and understand MIE (MRP system) Why Us At F3 Metalworx we pride ourselves on strong company culture.
