IMMEDIATELY HIRING FOR PRODUCTION WORKERS IN THE GREENSBURG AREA!
Job Description This role focuses on supporting high-volume manufacturing operations by inspecting products on a conveyor line, removing defective items, and preparing finished goods for shipment. You will contribute directly to product quality and efficient workflow in a large production facility that operates multiple shifts and offers substantial overtime opportunities. Responsibilities Stand on a conveyor line to visually inspect products as they move down the line and ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and remove defective products from the line when visual defects are observed. Tag and label incoming product accurately and place it in the correct area for shipping. Assist with general production tasks such as packaging, assembly, and general labor as needed. Support warehouse and inventory activities related to production, including organizing and handling materials. Operate basic production and material handling equipment such as machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and packing equipment, as allowed and trained. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations. Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment throughout the shift. Stand on your feet for up to 8 hours per day and routinely bend and lift up to 25 pounds. Work flexibly across multiple shifts and be open to working 6-7 days per week, including overtime, based on production needs. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a large manufacturing facility that uses two batch-making machines to produce product and supports multiple production lines. You will work on busy conveyor lines alongside other line workers who detect deficiencies, package items, and label products for shipment. Shifts include 6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m., and the facility currently operates 6-7 days per week, offering extensive overtime. Personal Protective Equipment is required and includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hair and beard nets, hearing protection such as ear plugs, and a hard hat. The environment is fast-paced, structured, and focused on safety, quality, and efficient production. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
