The General Production Workers will be responsible for workin gin a fast paced manufacturing environment, preparing piping and tubing sections of automotive emission systems, ensuring all components are correctly measured and aligned for the welding process. Qualifications include a general mechanical aptitude, comfortable using hand and power tools, following specific instructions when handling the automotive parts, along with prior experience setting up and making adjustments to the machines to bend and cut the material to the proper dimentions. Responsibilities Read and interpret a pick sheet to pull necessary parts and materials for production setup. Measure and understand pipe bending degrees to ensure proper alignment. Bend tubes and flare pipe ends for correct welding fit. Place finished components into frames to ensure proper fit for welding. Ensure consistent bends and correct depth of flares. Break down finished frames/jigs and load them into carts for transport to the welding department. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Essential Skills Mechanical inclination. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment. Experience in machine operating, measuring, and pipe bending. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hatfield, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
