About the Role We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery Production (Machine Operator) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As an Operator 2, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring production line equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations while minimizing waste and producing products that meet all quality, food safety, and company standards.

Required Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Operate and monitor production line equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production Maintain product quality by monitoring size, weight, consistency, and conformance to company standards Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate equipment or process issues to minimize downtime and waste Accurately record production data, including downtime, waste, and dough weights, per required intervals Communicate effectively with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Sanitation teams Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area in compliance with GMPs and safety procedures Support team performance through training, shift handoffs, and flexible job assignments Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic math and timekeeping skills Ability to make logical decisions in a production environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs. and frequently carry items over 20 lbs. Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and variable schedules Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment Experience operating production or processing equipment Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, and quality standards Strong teamwork and communication skills Experience training or supporting new operators Aspire Bakeries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
