Weekend Shift - Production Worker Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Production Worker to join our team for the weekend shift, operating from Friday to Sunday, 6am to 7pm. The role involves managing the production process, including product selection, packaging, assembly, finishing, and shipping. Responsibilities Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrates or mediums. Prepare substrates for vinyl application, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning. Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images using varied techniques depending on size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images. Operate and maintain printers effectively. Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting Work Orders and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards. Conduct finishing operations such as laminating and mounting of printed pieces. Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered. Clean and maintain storage areas efficiently. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Essential Skills Experience in production, assembly, general production, inspection, and machine operation. Proficiency in using hand tools, general labor skills, and operating machinery. Ability to measure accurately with a tape measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand for long periods of time. Capability to lift 50 or more pounds. Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and perform back-and-forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics. Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
