The ideal candidate needs to be hardworking, reliable and work well with a team. Job Summary Responsible for supporting product filling, preparation, finishing, and staging activities for mats and related manufactured products. This role fills products with the correct foam, materials, and components; supports product completion; inspects work for quality; and helps maintain safe, organized production flow. Primary Responsibilities Fill mats and related products with the correct foam, materials, and components according to work orders, product specifications, and direction from management.
  • 45% Prepare, organize, stage, and move covers, foam, panels, and materials needed for filling and product completion. Verify materials are correct before beginning assigned work.
  • 20% Inspect filled products for fit, alignment, completeness, appearance, and quality. Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, missing materials, or other quality concerns to management.
  • 15% Mark, label, organize, and stage completed products for the next production step, shipment preparation, or designated storage area.
  • 10% Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company procedures, State and Federal safety standards, and equipment guidelines.
  • 5% Perform other duties, as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED Experience
  • 6+ months of production, manufacturing, product finishing, material handling, warehouse, or related hands-on work experience preferred; equivalent demonstrated ability may be considered Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Knowledge of basic production, product finishing, and safe material handling practices Knowledge of work orders, product specifications, foam, covers, and materials used in product filling Skilled in filling, preparing, organizing, staging, and moving materials or finished products accurately Skilled in inspecting filled products for fit, alignment, completeness, appearance, and quality concerns Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work orders, product specifications, and production priorities Ability to maintain attention to detail while working in a physically active production environment Ability to communicate issues, defects, inconsistencies, missing materials, or safety concerns appropriately Team-oriented attitude with willingness to take direction, support others, and adjust based on business needs Preferred Qualifications Experience•Experience in a manufacturing, production, product finishing, foam, textile, upholstery, mat, or made-to-order product environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experience working with foam, vinyl covers, mats, cushions, or other filled products Familiarity with work orders, custom products, quality standards, or production staging processes Physical Demands Will consistently lift, push, and pull up to 20-30 pounds on a frequent basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Will consistently be standing, bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching for extended periods of time.
