Job Description

Job Description Purpose and role of job: Responsible for utilizing material and manpower to efficiently produce a quality product during the manufacturing process.
Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times. Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines. Support and maintain machine documentation and troubleshooting guides Maintains quality standards for the product being produced. Ensures the machine and surrounding areas are clean at all times. Ability to operate all machines within the Platform competently and productively. Troubleshoots problems and performs adjustments to the machine. Properly trains machine operators, new line leaders, and other employees as required. Performs quality checks as required. Examines defects and scrap causes and take appropriate corrective action; analyze and record production delays on downtime report. Assists maintenance team as needed. Assists the Supervisor. Properly completes all necessary paperwork. Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so. Manages line through team approach principals and developing effective, self-sustaining work teams.
Education and experience requirements:
Completion of all required training and assessments. Completion of the 10 required courses Ability to effectively operate one machine technology. Standard knowledge of technical processes, materials, and procedures. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent leadership skills. Ability to work in and manage a team oriented environment. Ability to communicate orally and written. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. High School diploma or equivalent required. One to two years of trade school or college preferred. Three years manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work a flexPible schedule Prior computer experience preferred.
Work Environment:
Work in environment exposed to dust.
Physical Requirements:
Occasional sitting with frequent standing / walking during 8 hour shift. Occasional bending, climbing, reaching overhead, and kneeling throughout shift. Occasional pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Occasional use of hands with occasional use of right foot control. Occasional light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift. Operations of forklifts throughout shift.
