Description Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Build skids and proactively locate skids outside before each job begins to ensure optimal production flow.
- Measure materials for assembly.
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements.
- Use hand and power tools while following safety protocols.
- Complete paperwork and put material away in a location and ensure that it's correct.
- Utilize software to maintain pallet inventory, to include real-time updates.
- Track and maintain waste, broken pallets, and identify ways to repurpose.
- Regularly clean and tidy work. This includes removing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring that the workspace is ready for the next task.
- Monitor supplies and inform the supervisor when inventory is running low.
- Notify the supervisor of any repair needs; it is best to submit a work order for tracking purposes.
- As a small company, additional duties may be assigned to ensure the plant is operating efficiently.
