Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team at AMG Chrome US LLC, as a Production Operator, and be a key player in delivering high-quality products efficiently and safely. In this energetic role, you will operate various machinery, handle materials with precision, and support the production process from start to finish. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations, adherence to safety standards, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting committed to excellence. Duties To manufacture products according to both standard operating procedures, safe working procedures and quality standards, operating processing and mobile plant machinery and material handling equipment: Firing reactions to produce finished production Mixing & blending of raw materials Building & stripping of firing pots Cleaning and breaking of fired product Crushing of materials Packing of materials Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensure all products are produced on time, to the required quality standards, and to shift targets Complete and maintain all necessary production records / documentation accurately and in a timely manner Ensure that the machinery is functioning correctly, efficiently and safely Ensure completion of pre-start checks and end of shift clean downs are completed Act as a trainer for colleagues and team members within that department Maintain regular and effective communication with the Shift Supervisor Carry out process duties as needed to cover team breaks or unplanned absences to maintain production flow Low level maintenance routines and reporting of breakdowns to Maintenance Department Skills Experience in heavy/medium manufacturing environment Ability to follow work instructions and independently work to safe working procedures Teamwork and communication skills Organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently Self motivated Crane License (desirable) Fork Truck License (desirable) Benefits (All Paid by Company except deductibles and co-pays) Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Short & Long Term Disability Long Term Disability 19 days Paid Time Off at start 401k Participation w/company matching up to 5% Must be able to pass drug test Join us as a Production Operator and become part of a vibrant team dedicated to producing top-quality products through innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
