Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team at Sieling and Jones, Inc. This position is essential to our operations, as you will assist in various manufacturing processes that contribute to the production of high-quality wood products. Your work will directly support our commitment to excellence and sustainability. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly and fabrication of wood products according to specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various manufacturing tasks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Support the assembly line operations by preparing materials and components as needed. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize workplace hazards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Participate in training sessions for new equipment or processes as required. Qualifications Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and machinery safely. Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Good communication skills for effective teamwork are essential. Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings. Understanding of plant orders, cut lists, and veneer layup schedules. Familiarity with measurement tools and tolerances. Ability to learn a niche industry.
