$23.09/hr Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers with opportunities available in two shifts: Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:30am.. You will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities Load cheese for packaging machines onto conveyors. Remove cheese from brine cages. Stack cheese boxes on pallets neatly to fit into the cooler racks without damage. Construct boxes and pack products in boxes. Remove packaging material from rejected cheese and prepare cheese for repackaging. Inspect products and packaging for foreign materials and imperfections, segregate suspect products, rerun through metal detector, and document issues. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain plant equipment. Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion. Assist in other production areas as needed. Assist in the training of new personnel. Minimize water usage and wastewater generation within the scope of the position. Follow all GMPs and work consistently with corporate and regulatory food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Essential Skills Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, and multiplication. Ability to carry out instructions accurately. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Capability to perform labor and lifting tasks. Comfort with repetitive tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. No prior experience required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Wilmington, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.04 - $23.09/hr.
