Job Title:
Production Worker Job Description This role involves working on a packing line where vinyl parts for window frames come off the production line. You will handle, stack, and prepare parts for packaging while following basic work orders and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Positions are available on both day and night shifts with a 2-2-3 schedule and opportunities for overtime. Responsibilities Work on the packing line to handle vinyl parts as they come off the production line. Stand on your feet for the majority of the shift while monitoring parts coming off the line. Lift 10-15 lb parts off the machine and stack them neatly for packaging. Follow basic work orders to record part numbers accurately; no prior experience with work orders is required. Perform general production, labor, and packaging tasks as assigned. Use basic hand tools and assembly techniques as needed for production and packaging activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area in a large manufacturing facility. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment. Collaborate with team members and line leads to ensure consistent production flow and meet daily output goals. Essential Skills Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day. 1 year of production or warehouse experience preferred. 1 year of labor or packaging experience preferred. Capability to lift and handle parts weighing approximately 10-15 lbs repeatedly. Comfort working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. Basic ability to follow written work orders and record part numbers accurately. Reliability and strong work ethic to support consistent production schedules. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, labor, packaging, or assembly environments. Familiarity with using basic hand tools in a manufacturing setting. Interest in learning machine operation, line lead responsibilities, or materials handling for future advancement. No medical clearances or formal certifications required for this role. Why Work Here? After a 6-month contract period, you are eligible for a $1.00 raise, with typical rates reaching $17.00-$18.00 per hour once taken on directly. You can access unlimited overtime throughout the year, allowing you to significantly increase your earnings. The organization conducts reviews every 3 months, which commonly result in additional raises, often around $0.50. There are many opportunities to move into higher-responsibility and higher-paying roles, including machine operator, line lead, and materials positions. Work Environment You will work in a very large yet clean manufacturing facility that produces window frames. The environment includes extensive machinery throughout the plant, and the facility is kept in good condition. Roles follow a 2-2-3 schedule on 12-hour shifts, with both 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.-9:00 a.m. options available. You can also pick up an extra 12-hour shift to reach up to 48 hours per week, with unlimited overtime offered throughout the year. The position requires standing for most of the shift and performing repetitive lifting of 10-15 lb parts. Steel-toed shoes are required as part of the dress code, while safety glasses and gloves are provided depending on the area where you work. The facility emphasizes safety and cleanliness while maintaining a busy, production-focused atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
