Job Description
Position Summary The Production Assistant provides administrative support to the plant production team by overseeing the administration of various systems and programs.
Key Deliverables:
Oversees the daily and monthly calculation of production efficiency and spoilage rates Provides production volume, efficiency, spoilage, and stock inventory reports Assists with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of quality systems, raw material management and performs periodic internal audits as directed Assists in training new employees as needed Monitors data in SAP and Lighthouse to ensure accuracy, and makes corrections when needed Provides administrative support in cooperation with the production department needs Ensures materials and finished goods inventory accuracy in cooperation with the warehouse department Purchases auxiliary materials as needed to support production department in coordination with the purchasing team Performs other duties reasonably corresponding with the role, as directedKnowledge/Skills/Experience:
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment desired Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work independently Experience with manufacturing MES systems (Shop Floor Online) is a plus Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is desired Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals Strong knowledge in Excel is a plus Proficient withMicrosoft Office Suite:
