Ball Transfer Systems, LLC (balltransfer.com) is a locally owned private company. We are the nation's leading manufacturer of industrial, heavy duty & light application ball transfer units (think conveyor equipment, etc.). Our onmi-directional ball transfer units are made of the highest quality materials for durability & efficient material handling. We are looking to add to our team with an Assembler / Production Worker who is a self-motivated, driven & ethical individual looking to join an evolving business focused on developing top talent in support of an even brighter future. Duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Ability to support production assembly by taking components and completing a finished product. Adaptable to working on changing priorities to meet production demand, including transitioning product mix. Work daily on repetitive tasks to support our customers, including running equipment or standing for long periods of time to build inventory. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and using ladders to ascend to high-levels for maintenance and repairs with a safety-first mentality. Supports the business needs through job flexibility, including the need to help with lawn and building maintenance, or working in other business specific roles to ensure production processes are completed. Report to Production Manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Forklift training and experience preferred Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, be able to stand for 8 hours, and can work independently. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively Valid Driver's License in PA Pass drug and alcohol tests Ball Transfer pays competitive wages and benefits. However, pay is based on experience and we are willing to train the right candidates. The company offers UPMC health & dental insurance (employer contributes 70% towards health premium) after 60 days of employment, Life, short-term & long-term disability insurance after 90 days (employer pays 100%).
