The Procurement & Inventory Specialist, Co-Manufactured Portfolio, is responsible for purchasing and inventory planning for all co-manufactured finished goods. This role ensures uninterrupted product availability while minimizing excess inventory, aging product, and obsolescence. The position manages procurement and inventory strategies across approximately 450 finished-good SKUs sourced through a network of contract manufacturers and co-man partners. Working closely with Sales, Logistics, Distribution, Costing, Finance, and suppliers, the role balances service levels, inventory investment, and supply chain performance to support company growth and customer satisfaction. Minimum Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Planning & Forecasting Analyze inventory levels, sales history, demand forecasts, lead times, seasonality, and shelf-life requirements to determine purchasing needs. Manage inventory across approximately 450 finished-good SKUs to ensure optimal product availability. Maintain inventory levels that support customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and aging product. Procurement & Supplier Management Purchase co-manufactured finished goods from approved contract manufacturers and supplier partners. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers. Issue and manage purchase orders in accordance with inventory requirements and demand forecasts. Maintain procurement records and sourcing documentation. Monitor supplier performance. Purchase Order & ERP Management Create, issue, and manage purchase orders through Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Monitor open purchase orders to ensure products are received on time and properly closed within company systems. Verify received quantities, product dating, and inventory transactions for accuracy. Manually process direct shipment receipts and supporting documentation as required. Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier information within company systems. Utilize Excel and ERP reporting tools to analyze inventory performance and purchasing requirements. Supplier Performance & Issue Resolution Track supplier KPIs including on-time delivery, fill rates, responsiveness, inventory reliability, and service performance. Conduct annual supplier performance reviews and communicate expectations for continuous improvement. Resolve supplier issues related to shortages, shipping delays, damages, quality concerns, invoice discrepancies, and service failures. Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, service levels, and supply continuity. Logistics & Distribution Coordination Coordinate inbound product pickups and deliveries with Logistics and Distribution Center teams. Maintain and update scheduling and shipment tracking documentation. Communicate product availability, shortages, backorders, and expected replenishment dates to internal stakeholders. Communicate potential supply disruptions and develop mitigation plans
