• Job Description
• This entry-level role supports the production of lenses for eyeglasses in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

You will primarily monitor automated lines, follow written work instructions, and perform light, hands-on tasks to ensure products meet quality standards. The position requires standing for the full shift and working independently while maintaining attention to detail and consistent output.

• Responsibilities
• + Read and follow daily work instructions and production orders accurately.

+ Monitor automated production lines to ensure continuous product flow and promptly address basic issues or interruptions. + Perform visual quality inspections of lenses, checking for cracks, scratches, and other defects. + Carry out prep work on lenses, including carefully applying tape to the glass and removing tape as required by the process. + Scan barcodes to verify that each item is placed in the correct bin and that orders are properly tracked. + Check the shape of lenses to ensure they are correctly prepared for accurate cutting in subsequent steps. + Clean lenses in the finishing department to meet cleanliness and quality standards.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
