Machine Operator Union Manufacturing Career | Earn $32+/hr Within Your First Year TOPS Staffing is hiring Machine Operators for a growing union manufacturing facility. Pay Progression Starting Pay:
$20.00/hour•65 day contract to hire with TOPS Staffing After 60
Days:
$24.23/hour After 6
Months:
$28.46/hour After 1
Year:
$32.69/hour
Annual Raises:
4% scheduled increases
Shift Differentials Afternoon Shift:
+$0.55/hour
Night Shift:
+$0.65/hour
Available Shifts Afternoon:
3:00 PM•11:00
PM Night:
11:00 PM•7:00 AM Monday-Friday schedule with voluntary overtime available during the week and weekends. Daylight shift opportunities become available through the company's internal bidding process. What You'll Do As a Machine Operator, you'll be trained to work in one or more manufacturing departments depending on business needs.
Responsibilities may include:
Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated production equipment Run welding, assembly, T-bolt, V-band, and other specialized manufacturing machines Load raw materials and production components into machines Remove, inspect, and package finished products according to customer specifications Monitor machine performance and make basic operating adjustments Perform routine machine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs Complete quality inspections throughout the production process Accurately record production and quality information Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S principles Work as part of a production team to meet daily production goals Cross-train on multiple machines and departments as opportunities become available What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is helpful but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills Ability to pass a mechanical and mathematical aptitude assessment Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to learn new equipment and production processes Outstanding Benefits Upon Hire Rapid wage progression to $32.69/hour within your first year Scheduled 4% annual wage increases Union position offering long-term job security Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plans with excellent low or no deductible options Company pension Paid vacation and holidays Shift differential pay Voluntary overtime opportunities, offering double time pay on Sunday Stable manufacturing environment with opportunities to advance into higher-skilled positions If you're looking for more than just another manufacturing job and want a career with outstanding earning potential, excellent benefits, and long-term stability, apply today with TOPS Staffing!
