Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a Production Worker in our UPS department, where you will be responsible for packing, inspecting, loading, and unloading products. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that quality standards and processes are consistently applied throughout the facility. You will contribute to meeting production deadlines and goals, and report any issues or problems with production to your immediate supervisor. Responsibilities Pack and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. Load and unload materials efficiently. Meet production deadlines and goals. Report production issues or problems to the immediate supervisor. Essential Skills Experience in inspection and production. General labor skills. Proficiency in packing, packaging, and quality control. Ability to palletize and handle materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior manufacturing experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a plastic manufacturing environment that is not temperature-controlled and can be loud. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The work pace is manageable, with no heavy lifting involved. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
