Full Time Job Summary:

The Rope Mill Helper supports Machine Operators by assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of rope milling machinery. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Machine Operators with all phases of operation to keep machines loaded and continuously running Monitor materials and machine performance to identify issues or delays Operate hand and power tools, including pliers, cutters, and cut-off saws Utilize overhead hoists, lift trucks, and scrap winding equipment as needed Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area Perform other duties as assigned to support production and plant operations

Typical Work Conditions:

Industrial, manufacturing environment Inside work with exposure to noise, dirt, and varying temperatures (40°F to 100°F) May involve standing for extended periods and working around moving machinery

Equipment Used:

Pliers, cutters Overhead hoists Lift trucks Cut-off saws Scrap winding equipment Additional tools as required Knowledge /

Training:

Prior machine operation experience is helpful but not required On-the-job training will be provided Basic mechanical aptitude preferred

Physical Demands:

Lifting:

10 to 40 lbs. regularly; 41 to 100+ lbs. with hoist or team assistance

Pushing/Pulling:

12 to 100 lbs.

Frequent:

Bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, turning

Reaching:

Above shoulder and outward

Manual Dexterity:

Handling and fingering tasks

Mobility:
