Williamsport Rope Mill Helper/Operator

Job Overview Bethlehem Wire Rope, Inc is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Rope Mill Laborers. Key Responsibilities:

Assist machine operators in daily operations Load and unload strand/wire bobbins for all machines Perform bobbin and gear changes as needed Provide support for machine back-ups and equipment setup Remove scrap wire and maintain a clean work area Use tools such as welders and hoists properly Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

Lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs•frequently Push/pull up to 75 lbs (suspended load)•occasionally Frequent overhead reaching, standing, walking, twisting, and bending Occasional climbing, kneeling, and squatting Comfortable working at waist level or above

Work Environment:

Indoor industrial setting Exposure to noise, dirt, and temperature fluctuations (40°F to 100°F)

Equipment Used:

Pliers, cutters, overhead hoists, lift trucks, cut-off saws, scrap winding tools, and more

Experience/Training:

Machine operation experience is helpful but not required•training provided
